Hello Porkgrowth Alumni!

 

Creating the world of Porkgrowth School of Wizardry was a fun, exciting and pushed our crew to take risks in creating something epic!

 

This film was a great challenge because of the many various aspects that needed to come together not only in production but post and pre-production as well. Having a large cast, with six main actors and a room of extras, contained within a size-restricted studio set was only one challenge. The greatest challenge for this film was making the magic itself. Careful planning and forethought went into pre-production and production to ensure shooting was done keeping VFX in mind. Another key element was the role of the Art Department in creating wardrobe, props and a set that tied everything together visually.

 

Our post-production, while also challenging, has given us great creative opportunities for sound and effects which is really exciting. It was a great experience working with this cast and crew to create this film and I look forward to getting to share this project we've all put so much hard work into!
